 When Greed...

becomes the de-facto policy at state, local and federal levels - an artificial stress is created. The stress is borne by the large lower 80% of the population. Purified greed, instigated by the powerful, brought forth and maintained by their governmental lackeys - is certainly beneficial for the grifters and swindlers of society, but can only be maintained for the short term. Eventually it ruins the empire.
This is why you have a healthcare crises. This is why you cannot provide energy without despoiling the land and poisoning the population. Greed is why you have race baiters running amok. Greed is why you have a public servants undermining the very constituents they are supposed to be serving. Why do some narrow minded people hate the poor and any other disenfranchised segment they can lay their eyes on? Mental manipulation by a nice, well heeled bunch of greedy ass motherfuckers. If you are trying to figure out who these completely gentrified assholes are, well...

...begin to disparage the bounteous expression of capitalism as determined by the chaste hardworking
leaders of industry! For once one travels down that road one is bound to be waved away by the free hand of the markets. Just as when one Martin Luther King Jr. determined that the masses were being duped. He proceeded to make speech about it. This threatened "the endowed" and they summarily "waved him away" in Memphis shortly thereafter. In pursuit of ones' capacity to continue alive and serving those in power we must bow down and embrace the ever growing expression of capitalist lust, gangrenous though it may well be. We must, must we?

This action counter-action approach may suit your immediate need for dramatic behavior - but cannot very well be a wise course. We know that every empire must dissolve. It is as decreed by the gods, a part of the cycle embedded in mortals. Like the cycle embedded in birds that makes them migrate as the seasons change. Mortals are so foolish to think it is their own doing, bah! They have little choice. Your choice is as strong as the power you can exert over a society, but no one in power ever comes to their own conclusion. The terms of their power are pre-writ. It never varies from the drama exacted by the gods. Look to history - if you doubt me!

Q.  Don't your actually mean "racism" not tribalism?

A. Yes. We used tribe instead of race because when a person sees the word race their entire brain seems to shut down, the ability to reason and rationality itself seems to evaporate. 

 

Q.  Would you be better served using a hand drawn everyman style character?

A.  Certainly, and with all that wood carving, photography and post production-layout it would have been easier too...

 

Q.  Are you trying to insult people calling them wooden headed?!!

A.  You might insult someone by calling them a swindler if they cared about such things. You could insult someone by calling them a liar but only if they do not take pride in their lies. The wood is only a reference to the characters' make-up. We would have referred to type except we are not sure if it is birch or maple.
